Our Story
Hi, I’m Jozie – Owner and Grower at Wild & Welsh Flower Farm.
Wild & Welsh was born from a deep love for growing and being in the great outdoors. For over ten years, I found joy in tending to my vegetable garden each morning before work. It was a grounding ritual that nurtured both my love for good food and my connection to the land.
As my gardening journey grew, I started introducing companion flowers to support pollination and manage pests—and that’s when I fell head over heels for flowers.
Curious and inspired, I dove into months of research, attended courses, and visited flower farms across the country. I built trial beds at home to test varieties and refine my techniques. Before long, I was on the hunt for a field where this budding idea could blossom into something bigger.
That search led me to the wonderful Ben at Garth Farm, and with his help, we found the perfect spot on the farm —now home to Wild & Welsh Flower Farm.
My vision is simple:
To grow and supply beautiful, seasonal flowers to my local community and eco-conscious florists—flowers that don’t cost the earth.
No chemicals. No air miles. No floral foam. No single-use plastics.
To support this mission, I trained in Sustainable Floristry at the Bath Flower School, equipping me with the tools to design in harmony with nature and show off my wild and natural style.
Alongside growing and making wild arrangements, I also love creating special moments. Now and then, I open the farm gates to host seasonal workshops and Pick Your Own flower events, inviting people to connect with flowers in a hands-on, joyful way.
I’d love for you to come and share in the flowery fun one day!
