Christmas Wreath Workshop at GYG
Join us this festive season for a creative and eco-conscious Christmas Wreath Workshop at the cosy and welcoming Gwaelod-y-Garth Inn.
In this hands-on session, you’ll create your own beautiful wreath using seasonal foliage and dried flowers—all lovingly grown and gathered on our flower farm. From rich winter greenery to delicately preserved blooms, every element tells the story of our land and the season.
Your wreath will be fully sustainable and compostable, crafted on a hand-woven willow base, with willow grown and harvested right here on our farm—an earth-friendly alternative to traditional plastic or wire frames.
We’ll provide everything you need, along with a glass of mulled wine or Prosecco and a festive mince pie to enjoy as you create.
Whether you’re joining with friends or taking time for yourself, you’ll leave with a stunning handmade wreath—and a renewed connection to nature and the joy of the season.
Chritmas Wreath Workshop at The Cobb Centre
Join us for a relaxed and creative wreath-making workshop using beautiful, sustainably grown materials from our own flower farm.
In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to craft a stunning, natural wreath from scratch — using a base made from our own willow, lush fresh and dried foliage, and seasonal flowers grown right here on the farm.
Whether you’re looking to create a festive centrepiece or a timeless decoration for your home, you’ll leave with a wreath that’s completely eco-friendly, personal, and uniquely yours.
No experience needed — just come ready to get creative and enjoy a mindful, seasonal activity in the beautiful setting of The Cobb Centre overlooking Lyme Regis harbour.

Pick Your Own Flowers
The flowers are back!
We’re excited to share that the dahlias are back and blooming, and we’ll be opening our gates for the last Pick Your Own Flowers event of the year this Saturday 6th September from 10am to 12pm.
How it Works
Choose from two options:
Jam Jar – £10
Bucket – £20
Once you've chosen your floral holder , we’ll provide you with some snips and set you free to wander the garden and pick your own selection of seasonal flowers.
Reserve Your Spot
To help manage traffic on our country road, we kindly ask that you reserve a free ticket via Eventbrite and select your preferred time slot. If you are unable to make it please cancel your ticket via EventBrite to allow someone else to take your spot as tickets are very limited.
Payment for your jar or bucket will be taken on the day — cash or card accepted.

How to find us?
Wild & Welsh Flower Farm is located just off Efail Isaf road between Efail Isaf and Pentyrch. The field is 1 minute outside Efail Isaf and located on your right if you are coming from Cardiff or on your left if you are coming from Efail Isaf. You are looking for a gate which is up a bumpy entrance track, and there will be signage when you get to the entrance. The link below brings you right to the entrance.

Important Info
Our field is part of a working farm, so the ground is uneven in places — please wear suitable footwear and take care while walking.
Parking is available in the grassy field next to ours. There’s a short 100m walk from the parking area to our flower farm.
The driveway and track are a little bumpy — please drive slowly and carefully when arriving.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the field for a joyful morning among the blooms!
